Danger In Pledging Loyalty To The Beast
(Surrendering Principalities By
Receiving Idolatrous Marks [Great Seals])
Compiled
by Brother L. Harrell
God’s instructions in James 5:12
and Matthew 5:34 concerning oaths.
James
5:12 But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither
by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let
your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.
Matthew
5:34 But I say
unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:
Matthew 23:20-22 Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by
it, and by all things thereon. And whoso shall swear by the
temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein. And he
that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him
that sitteth thereon.
Can we pledge allegiance to governments that have loyalties to entities
that are contrary to God? Can we swear and make oaths at all (and
not grieve God)? (Read above to discern)
The USA and the many of it's states have idols of goddesses on top of
the domes of their capital buildings, on their state flags, and on
their "Great Seals". (Yes, the same country, states and
citizens that say "In God we trust".) This idolatry symbolizing
supreme authority (sovereignty) is a denial of loyalty to Jesus Christ,
and an admission of trust in self and false deities. (Personally,
I can not
pledge allegiance to this sinful government).
Amos
3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
Someone said "a pledge is just a pledge, its not big deal". (That
person's pledge may just be a pledge, but my word is my bond).
Note: If a person idly utters a
serious promise, they have sworn.
If
a
person verbally says “in God we trust”, then non-verbally says
“in goddess we trust”, isn't that an oxymoron? It is an oxymoron
to pledge my allegiance to God, and also pledge allegiance to an entity
that denies God (publicly as well as privately, verbally as well as
non-verbally).
James
1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
James
1:7 For let not that man
think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
Romans
1:30-32
Backbiters, haters of God,
despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to
parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers,
without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the
judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of
death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do
them.
If one pledges allegiance to a state flag with an image of a goddess on
the flag, that amounts to that person pledging allegiance to that false
deity. (The symbolism of the flag is based upon the authority
which the false deity represents. If the false deity had no
meaning, it would not be on the flag or "great seal"?) If we
choose to speak
words of acceptance of such a thing, we are surrendering our God given
authority by denial of Him.
Matthew
12:37 (NLT) The words
you say
now reflect your fate then;
either you will be justified by them
or you will be condemned."
Luke 12:8-9 (NLT) And I
assure you of this: If anyone
acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I, the Son of Man, will openly
acknowledge that person in the presence of God's angels. But if
anyone denies me here on
earth, I
will deny
that person before God's
angels.
U.S. States with goddesses on their Great Seals are: Arkansas,
California, Hawaii, Idaho, North Carolina (also New Jersey, New York
& Virginia also have them on their state flags). U.S.
States that appear to my understanding to have sacrilege on their Great
Seals: Colorado, Georgia & Wyoming (also Washington, DC).
Great seals: [of the states of the United States of America] are
emblems used to mark, attest, & establish authority and sovereignty
of a government.
American Heritage Dictionary has a description of a mark being:
"An inscription, name, stamp, label, or seal placed on an article to
signify ownership, quality, manufacture, or origin."
I pray that those that live in New Jersey, New York, and Virginia, are
never coerced to pledge to the beast on their state flags, receiving
his mark (verbally affirming obligation of loyalty to the enemy's
authority [which the State places its confidence in]).
Ecclesiastes
5:5 Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou
shouldest vow and not pay.
Please note: I am not
stating this is the "mark of the beast" the bible is referring to, nor
am I excluding the possibility that it is the same. Not
supporting sacrilege and not pledging allegiance does not mean one
is opposed to their
government (I pray for my government and keep peace when and where
possible).
Luke
12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after
he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear
him.
U.S. capitals with idols (goddesses) on their domes (creating
probable surrender of principalities to the adversary [When things go
wrong,
remember who forsaked who]): Texas, Missouri, Wisconsin, Georgia,
Pennsylvania (and I believe there are more).
Do not think it is a coincidence that churches with steeples
(idolatrous Baalim / Asherim) and capital cities with goddesses (graven
images) on their capital buildings’ domes are visible as “high
places” . The adversary has also marked many cornerstones. The
enemy knows where to strategically place his
markings provoking God. If it were not for the modern creation of
skyscrapers, the adversary would have dominated the high places with
his abominations.
Man places an abomination on top of a capital
building (or in a courtyard). As a result
numerous institutions use the
image of the capital building as representation of the city. Images are created in gift shops, on
calendars, coins, drawn on pictures and placed in museums.
In the city where I live, the transit
authority has placed representations of the capital and the abomination
that sets on top of it all throughout the city. Also, privately
owned
vehicles have safety inspection stickers placed on them with
representations of the capital and its abomination. Additionally,
the image of the "goddess" is on the driver's license.
A little
abomination goes a long way. In
case anyone wonders if this is a big deal
on not, note that as the Lord gave commandments which are recorded in
Exodus 20,
one of the first ones He gave was concerning graven images. (Many
things in the bible are listed with the highest rank or the preeminent
things listed first).
Based upon 1990 US Census state population data, Arkansas, California,
Hawaii, Idaho, North Carolina, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, Texas,
Missouri, Wisconsin & Pennsylvania represent approximately 45% of
the population in the United States. If God was to consider these
sacrilegious idols on the domes, the flags and states' "great seals" as
renouncement [as well as denouncement] of Him, our forsaking the Lord
could cause much prayer,
protection and blessing to be nullified.
These symbols / idols are intended to be more than
commemoration
of false religion, but also for false religion's endorsement and
advancement. This becomes apparent by taking into consideration
the public satanic ceremony
that was held for the Statue [goddess] of Liberty
when it was set up to provoke the One True Lord and be a curse to this
nation.
Does America's enemies only need to look at the domes of our capitals
and seals to validate their rationalization that we are infidels?
We may look at the numerous provocations the adversary has set before
us and the Lord and feel overwhelmed, but it is the rebuke of such and
the humble & sincere petition by the Lord’s righteous elect that
will touch His heart.
We will not be
put to shame!
Philippians
4:6 (NLT) Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about
everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
