"Another
Gospel"
(the
apostate church / heretic church)
compiled by
brother l. harrell
"And
have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather
reprove
them." Ephesians 5:11
"the true worshippers shall worship
the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to
worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must
worship him in spirit and in truth." John
4:23b-24
"Paul,
an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God
the
Father, who raised him from the dead;)" (Galatians 1:1)
"But
though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you
than
that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed." (Galatians
1:8)
"As
we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel
unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed." (Galatians
1:9)
Approximately
1 billion people, 1/6th
of the world's
population, are members of a certain apostate church that prays to what
they call "Mary, mother of Jesus". The apparition(s) that they worship
teaches, and decrees things that are not what apostle Paul taught.
Therefore,
their doctrine qualifies as "another gospel".
Outlined
below are a few examples of the teachings they have received from their
apparitions (not what apostle Paul or the other Apostles taught):
The
apparition has stated that those who recite the rosary with devotion:
- will receive
signal graces,
- will receive
special protection and the greatest graces,
- will never
be conquered by misfortune,
- will not
die without the sacraments of the church,
- will be
delivered from purgatory,
- will merit
a high degree of glory in heaven,
- will obtain
all they ask "Mary" while reciting rosary,
- the soul
will not perish,
- are "Mary's"
sons and brothers of Jesus Christ.
For briefly,
these are just a few of the proclamations made. Without question, this
is not the gospel that the apostle Paul preached. (Try to find
the
rosary or purgatory in the bible.) The bible says:
"For
such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves
into
the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed
into an angel of light." (II Corinthians 11:13-14)
"Beware
lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the
tradition
of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ."
(Colossians
2:8)"
Let
no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and
worshipping
of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly
puffed
up by his fleshly mind," (Colossians 2:18)
I can not find in the bible a nun,
or a monk or a rosary. However, I
can find in the world a buddhist rosary, a buddhist nun and a buddhist
monk. So, who's gospel do these things come from? (These
are not the teaching of Christ, but of the devil).
If we
pray to anyone or thing other than the Lord in Jesus' name, we would be
following another gospel (see I Timothy 2:5 below). "Mary" does
not
take our prayers to Jesus / God:
"For
there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ
Jesus; " (I. Timothy 2:5)
"And
whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God and the Father by him." (Colossians 3:17)
An
“angel of light” speaking of things not found in scripture is received,
but the operation of divine gifts is shunned as taboo. This
apostate
church has since it's inception been against those who obey the gospel.
They continue to do whatever is in their power to stop those who have
the
Spirit of God. (Those with the baptism of the Holy Ghost, speaking in
tongues
as the Spirit gives utterance). The animosity is not surprising since
unrighteousness
is contrary to righteousness.
"Can
two walk together, except they be agreed?" (Amos 3: 3)
"Be
ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship
hath
righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with
darkness?" (II Corinthians 6:14)
Gifts
such as prophecy and divine healing follow those with the Spirit of
God.
Most of the gifts are not present in the apostate church. Often
those
in apostate churches will accuse those with the gifts of the Spirit of
being of the devil. We can tell by the word of God if the Lord
has
spoken through the prophets or not:
"When
a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not,
nor
come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the
prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of
him."
(Deuteronomy 18:22)
The book
of Mark describes what signs follow those who are saved:
"He
that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth
not
shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my
name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
They
shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall
not
hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."
(Mark
16:16-18)
What these
scriptures are stating can also be found in other parts of the bible:
"Jesus
answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of
water
and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." (John 3:5)
"The
like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the
putting
away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience
toward
God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:" (1 Peter 3:21)
"For
with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people."
(Isaiah 28:11)
"Behold,
I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all
the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." (Luke
10:19)
"And
the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him
up;
and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him." (James 5:15)
Perfection
/ Incapability of Erring:
Doctrine of an infallible "pope". The inquisition of Galileo
[Galilei] proves the truth or lack there of with this doctrine.
We
must separate ourselves from ungodly men (such as the apostate church),
and obey Acts 2:38 and live morally.
The
apostle Paul taught the gospel outlined in Acts 2:38.
"Then
said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying
unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come
after
him, that is, on Christ Jesus. When they heard this, they were
baptized
in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands
upon
them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and
prophesied."
(Acts 19:4-6)
"For
there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old
ordained
to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into
lasciviousness,
and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ." (Jude 1:4)
"But,
beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles
of our Lord Jesus Christ; How that they told you there should be
mockers
in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These
be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. But
ye,
beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the
Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy
of
our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion,
making
a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire;
hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Now unto him that is able
to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the
presence
of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be
glory
and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen." (Jude
1:17-25)
"For
I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to
one
husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But
I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his
subtilty,
so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in
Christ."
(II. Corinthians 11:2-3)
Below
are a
few scriptures
the false church disobeys regarding their "nuns" and "priests":
"forbidding
to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God
created
to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the
truth.
(1 Timothy 4:3 NKJV)
"But
refuse the
younger widows; for when they have begun to grow wanton against Christ,
they desire to marry, having condemnation because they have cast off
their
first faith. And besides they learn to be idle, wandering about
from
house to house, and not only idle but also gossips and busybodies,
saying
things which they ought not. Therefore I desire that the younger
widows marry, bear children, manage the house, give no opportunity
to the adversary to speak reproachfully. For some have already
turned
aside after Satan. (1 Timothy 5:11-15 NKJV)
"And
what concord
hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an
infidel?"
( II. Corinthians 6:15)
You
can't
be led
by someone who is led by the enemy, and be in God's will. The
leadership
of the largest "apostate church" admits having divine intervention from
"Mary". Just as members of the "Freemasons" / "Masons" /
"Shriners"
are led by the devil, so are those who submit to the leadership of the
"apostate church".
If
you
have repented,
been baptized in Jesus' name and filled with the Holy Ghost and attend
an apostate church, need to immediately get into a fellowship that is
in
God's will.
"But
he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not
planted,
shall be rooted up. Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the
blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the
ditch."
(Matthew 15:13)
"And
how shall
they preach, except they be sent?..." (From Romans 10:15)
"Now
I beseech
you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to
the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that
are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by
good
words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple."
(Romans
16:17-18)
Idol
worship in an abomination:
Ye
shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a
standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your
land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God. (Leviticus 26:1)
Graven
images: The
Vatican has a statue of Greek sun god Apollo, called the
Belvedered. Is possession of idol against the Lord's will?
also the
idol
(obelisk) in "St Peter's Square".
